RAMBLE ON: LED ZEPPELIN & THE FELLOWSHIP OF FOLK ROCK

Amongst being pioneers of hard rock and heavy metal, Led Zeppelin’s influences from the world of folk and roots music brought a completely new feel to their blues rock style that they are renowned for.

In this concert, we will unplug the electric guitars and take away the heavy Bonham kick drums and focus on the acoustic and folk driven side of Led Zeppelin. Featuring songs such as “Gallows Pole”, “Going to California”, “Bron Y Aur Stomp” and “Battle of Evermore”, this concert will showcase the side of Page, Plant, JPJ and Bonzo that is not highlighted enough!

As well as the music of Led Zeppelin, this concert will also feature the music of British folk rock pioneers including Fairport Convention, Jethro Tull, Richard and Linda Thompson, Lindisfarne, Trees and Kate Rusby.
