Never one to settle or slow down, Elles Bailey, the award winning, smokey voiced, far touring chanteuse who has powered her way to the forefront of the British Americana and Roots scenes in recent years, has announced her 4th studio album ‘Beneath the Neon Glow and her largest UK tour to date. This news comes hot off the press after winning Live act of the year for the second year running at the UK Americana Awards, and off the back of her hat trick of #1 for her recent Live Album (Live at the Fire Station) in the Official Jazz and Blues Charts, The Official Indie Album Breaker Charts and The Official Music Video Charts. Elles Bailey's forthcoming album ‘Beneath The Neon Glow’, her first album released under Cooking Vinyl, is an exploration of love's myriad forms. Through lyrically vulnerable and brutally honest songwriting, she delves into the depths of heartbreak, the resilience of friendship, and the enduring power of love that spans a lifetime. With beautifully uplifting melodies and first class instrumentation from her incredible live band, this record captures the essence of all the shades of love that have shaped Bailey's life and she fearlessly navigates through the spectrum of human emotion, offering listeners an intimate glimpse into her journey. Although heralded in the Blues, Americana and Rock communities in the UK and further afield Elles describes herself as a genre blending artist who doesn’t want to be put in just one box. This album sees her effortlessly weave through roots, rock and soul inspired americana with first class songwriting and excellent musicianship. The first taste of Beneath The Neon Glow comes in the shape of album opener ‘Enjoy The Ride’ which perfectly bottles road movie energy and blue skies positivity with an autobiographical lyric that Elles has lived and breathed. “Very early on in my career a friend told me that this musical path I had chosen doesn’t have a destination, it’s a journey, a very tough journey and it’s so important to enjoy the journey,” Elles said of the track. “I have based my whole career on this motto and ‘Enjoy the Ride’ is my autobiographical tribute to the journey I have taken. It’s not always easy, in fact most of the time it’s incredibly challenging, but I love it! And speaking of journey’s Elles and her A list band will be taking her new album on the road in the Autumn of 2024 , after a jam packed full festival season in the UK and Europe over the summer playing the likes of Cropredy, HebCelt, Beautiful Days and many more
